The Mega 8 is a simple and very comfortable boot for very wide footed and beginner skiers. Starting with a soft 70 flex and a 105mm forefoot it is clear the Mega 8 was constructed with comfort in mind. Add to that the Ultrafit Liner complete with a super soft man fur lining and the progressive cushioning system, PCS, which utilizes slow memory ethafoam and a triple layered footbed for extreme comfort and enhanced vibration absorption. Single Cuff Alignment, four micro-adjustable buckles, triple position cuff catches, and a 35mm power strap allow you to fine tune the fit and overall snugness of the boot as well to give the Mega 8 some performance characteristics. To help with entry and exit the 3 Density shell places very soft plastic over the instep and a hinged instep catch to eliminate boot bite. While the Mega 8 is not built to be a performance boot it serves well as comfortable boot to get you out on the hill and enjoy a full day of skiing.
